YOUNG PEOPLE SWAP CLOTHES WITH THEIR ELDERS

Asian artist Qozop is a thoughtful, creative photographer who explored the role of clothes in society by having different generations of the same families from Asian nations swap clothes.

He called it the 'Spring-Autumn' project, 'Basically, this idea for Spring-Autumn came about from a notion that though Asia has become westernized to a large degree, it is still possible to witness its traditions and cultures.

“It was easy to get the kids to agree to be photographed, the older folks required a little coaxing. But once they have been photographed, they were often curious and amused to see themselves in their child’s or grandchild’s attire – some were so comfortable in their new getup that they joked that they wanted to remain in that attire for the rest of the day!”

As you can see by the smiles in these very special side by side photos from the shoot below, he has truly created some treasured family photos.
